Unreal Tournament 2007, the fantastic-looking first-person shooter from Epic Games, has been delayed and now won't be released until 2007.
While a specific release date was never confirmed by publisher Midway, it was widely expected to be released at the end of 2006 but it is now scheduled for release in the first half of 2007. A similar delay occurred for the release of Unreal Tournament 2004, which slipped from its original 2003 date and was eventually released in March 2004.
Unreal 2007 has also been confirmed for PlayStation 3 and there was speculation that it could have been a launch title. Today's news rules out that possibility, with Midway still to set any date for the console game.
