PS4 slasher game Until Dawn is coming in August
Until Dawn, the game which lets you get up to eight attractive young adults horribly murdered in a choose-your-own-slasher-movie situation, will release in August. Sony announced the date along with a new trailer, introducing Peter Stormare of Fargo, Prison Break, and that Dead Orbit dude from Destiny.
It looks like Stormare is an investigator of some kind in Until Dawn, likely on the trail of the mysterious figure stalking these kids. He doesn't seem to be having a great time with it.
Until Dawn will release on August 25 in North America and August 28 in the UK. Sony also revealed that pre-ordering the game will unlock a "special bonus scene" starring Matt and Emily, the couple in the image up top.
Slotting two new characters into the rest of the game based on whether you pre-order or not could get dicey, so I'm guessing their story will be over pretty quickly and/or bloodily.
