RACING GAME
You're playing a racing simulator that mirrors real life immaculately. Remember not to panic - ask anyone in NASCAR - racing is not actually difficult. Anyone can do it. First figure out if this is one of those games that makes you tap on the brake before going around a turn or if you can just tape down the acceleration button. In either case, don't actually use the brake unless you need to go backwards. In games holding down the brakes will also shift gears into reverse. Then just follow our accommodating chart:
Pro-Tips:
•If your car has a gun mounted on the hood, awesome!
•Hitting the gas at the moment before the start light turns from yellow to green gives you a speed boost, much like the effect yellow lights have in real driving.
•Short of you dying in a blazing knot of twisted metal, there is nothing that a well trained pit crew can't fix.
•It's a perfectly legitimate racing tactic to attempt to kill your opponents before they finish.
