Uwe Boll petition gets 69,000 signatures in 24 hours!
Ah, the magic of the internets...
It was only yesterday that a few of our friends starting chatting about the petition to stop Uwe Boll from directing another film. If you didn't stumble across the story, here's the scoop.
Fearnet interviewed Boll on 4 April, and discussed the existence of the online petition whose sole aim was to stop him from making movies. Boll said he'd comply if the petition recieved one million signatures. At the time the interview was published, the poll had around 19,000 signatures, which duly leapt to around 30,000.
Which isn't bad over the course of a few days. But the leap to 89,000 over the past 24 hours, since some of the other film sites got involved, is truly impressive - and makes us hope beyond hope that there's a real possibility that we can stop the man who once beat up one of our friends in a boxing ring.
If you feel the same way as us about the man who made Postal, BloodRayne, Alone in the Dark and House of the Dead, get involved and sign the petition .
