Vanessa Hudgens signs for serial killer movie
Joins Nicolas Cage and John Cusack in Frozen Ground
Following Sucker Punch, Vanessa Hudgens is to distance herself even further from her High School Musical past by signing up for dark serial killer flick Frozen Ground.
Based on the couldn't-make-it-up true story of Alaska's most notorious serial killer Robert Hansen, Frozen Ground will detail the maniac's predilection for kidnapping teenagers, shipping them to the middle of Alaska's snowy wilderness, and hunting and killing them.
John Cusack will deviate from type to play Hansen, whilst Hudgens will swap singing for screaming to play one of the few victims to survive the ordeal.
Nic Cage has signed up to portray the Alaskan State Trooper helping Hudgens hunt human hunter Hansen.
It all sounds fairly intense to us, let's hope Hudgens' fanbase will be allowed in to see it.
Frozen Ground start shooting in Alaska next month.
