Just in time for a little Christmas carnage, EA will be pushing out the Vietnam DLC pack to its latest Battlefield game in the third week of December for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
PC players will be the first to get their hands on the add-on pack, as it will go to Steam and the online EA Store on December 18. PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will get the update when their respective digital stores update on December 21. Other platforms for PC digital distribution will also get the update on the 21st.
TheDLC will cost $14.99 on the PC and PS3, and 1200 Microsoft Points for the needlessly different Xbox Live platform.
The Vietnam expansion lets players compete as a US Marine or a North Vietnamese Army soldier across four new multiplayer maps. It also adds in new weapons and vehicles, and, of course, Trophies and Achievements.
Several map packs have been released for Bad Company 2, and "VIP" players - those who paid for a new, not used copy of the game - get access to additional content as well. The Vietnam DLC, however, if the first full-featured expansion to the game.
