Vinnie Jones boards The Midnight Meat Train
He’ll play a serial murderer in the Clive Barker horror adaptation
If you’re a director shopping around for an actor to play a violent psychopath who slaughters his victim on the late night subways of an American city, there are only so many who can bring the required physique to the role.
Ryuhei Kitamura, hard at work preparing for the adaptation of Clive Barker’s tale The Midnight Meat Train, has found just such a… well, we’re not sure if actor is quite the right word given it’s Vinnie Jones, but personality certainly fits. He’ll play Mahogany, the villain of the piece, with Bradley Cooper on his trail trying to stop him before he kills again.
Also on board are Talladega Nights’ Leslie Bibb and Brooke Shields. Kitamura is scheduled to start his cameras whirring next month in LA.
