Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers and Sonic The Fighters coming to the West sooner than expected
How does next week and the week after sound to you?
After yesterday's 3D Space Harrier revelation, there's more retro arcade goodness heading our way in the shape of Sega's Model 2 Collection, the first titles of which are hitting PSN as soon as next week in the US. The games had previously only been confirmed for Japan, but dates and prices for the US and European versions have now been announced. And they're cheap.
The first three games in question are Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers and Sonic The Fighters, which will be released on PS3 in the US on November 27 for $4.99 each. European gamers will have to wait another week until December 5, where the games will each cost £3.69/€4.49. As for XBLA, the games will cost 400 MS Points each and land in both territories on November 28.
This trio of classics (well, duo of classics and Sonic The Fighters) has a distinct fighting theme, so hopefully racing and shooting themes will follow soon.
