Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced the Vita 'Mega Pack', a software offering of ten digital titles and an 8GB memory card. Available from June 21 and priced at £34.99 / €39.99, it includes first-party games such as LittleBigPlanet Vita, WipeOut 2048 and MotorStorm RC.
The Mega Pack will also be bundled with a Wi-Fi Vita for £229.99 / €249.99 in select European countries. It’s out now in France, Spain, Portugal and Israel, due to launch in Austria, Switzerland and Germany on June 26, and will arrive in the UK on June 28. The Vita Mega pack hasn’t been confirmed for release outside of Europe.
Mega Pack games:
- LittleBigPlanet PS Vita
- WipeOut 2048
- MotorStorm RC
- Little Deviants
- Frobisher Says! (with Fun Pack DLC)
- Ecolibrium (with Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum game packs)
- Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters
- Lemmings
- Hungry Giraffe
- The HD Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character
While Sony Japan announced an official Vita price cut in February, one year after the system launched, in a bid to boost sales of the underperforming handheld, the company’s European and US arms have resisted following suit, instead opting for limited-time offers and promotions. If you haven’t already done so, would the Mega Pack tempt you to pick up a Vita?
