VOTE: Your Favourite Superhero Movies Ever: 2012 Edition
With a trio of new superheroes movies – The Dark Knight Rises, Avengers Assemble and The Amazing Spider-Man – all busting blocks at the cinema, we thought it was time to see how these releases affect our Top 50
Our Top 50 Superhero Movies Ever poll last year was a massive success, both in terms of how many of you voted (over 5,000!) and the amount of hits the resulting article amassed. And is still amassing. Yep, to this day, the poll remains one of the most popular features on the site.
But how quickly these things date! People clicking on the poll now get to read a countdown that doesn’t include The Dark Knight Rises , Avengers Assemble or The Amazing Spider-Man . Or Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance , for that matter, but we’re pretty sure they’re not worried about that…
But we’re also pretty sure the release of those BIG THREE will have a major impact on the results, so that’s why we’re asking you to vote again. Can any of them knock The Dark Knight off the top spot?
Same rules as last time:
1 You can vote for up to FIVE movies.
2 TV shows and TV movies have not been included, and nor are TV movies
3 If we have missed something off you feel you want to vote for, there’s a free vote area at the bottom, but we’re keeping to a strict five votes each format – if you tick off five films in the main list, we’ll ignore anything in the free vote box. If you tick off fours things in the main list and put two things in the free vote area, we’ll only count the first of your free votes and so on…

4 For Whedon and Doctor Who fans who feel the need to vote for anything Whedon- or Who -related – be honest, the Buffy film and the ’60s Who films don’t really count… and the Buffy film is rubbish anyway so it doesn’t belong anywhere near this Top 50. So a vote for any of these in the free vote section will be ignored.
5 Results next month.
