Walkthrough the PlayStation Vita Welcome Park
Check out minigames on how to use the touchscreens, camera, and microphone
It often feels as though Sony threw everything but the kitchen sink into the PS Vita, including a touchscreen, two cameras, a motion sensor, and a back touchpad. It’s great for games, letting developers really do whatever they want with the handheld’s controls, but learning all of these mechanics could prove difficult for some people, especially those who are used to using one – or maybe two – of those controls at once.
Luckily, Sony has it covered with a tutorial application called the Welcome Park, which takes the process of learning how to use all of the unique options and simplifies them with the help of minigames. These serve as the tutorial for the controls, and very quickly show off the system’s more unique features. Want to see how it works? Take a look at the video above, as we walkthrough the Welcome Park and show off what it has to offer.
