Wanted 2 gains Kristen Stewart?
Rumoured to replace an absent Angelina Jolie...
With Angelina Jolie ditching any plans to appear in Wanted 2 , director Timur Bekmambetov has reportedly met with Twilight moper Kristen Stewart to replace her.
Entertainment Weekly spilled the goss, stating that the director is keen on recruiting the BAFTA Rising Star award winner to kick some bottom in his action sequel.
According to EW , Stewart would play a new fraternity assassin, though with her schedule taken up with Twilight duties it’s uncertain if the 20-year-old will have time for another franchise.
Universal have yet to make her an offer, but star of the 2008 original James McAvoy is all-but-signed to reprise his role of Wesley Gibson.
Jolie departed the project earlier this year in order to work on other projects, including drama Serena with Darren Aronofsky and Disney’s Sleeping Beauty update Maleficent .
