Warhammer 40k: Space Marine's free Exterminatus DLC available now
See the trailer for four-player survival co-op
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine's first DLC, the Exterminatus pack, has just launched as a free download. The pack adds Exterminatus mode, which is basically Horde by another name, and as such smells every bit as sweet. Which, given that it's a bloody four-player throwdown against limitless waves of grunting space-cretins, probably isn't all that sweet at all, but it makes for fun times.
Above is the trailer for the new mode, which unleashes all the Orks and Chaos Space Marines you can handle, and then more Orks and Chaos Space Marines for good measure. Perks and XP count across modes, so if you've been playing Space Marine to death online already, you'll probably be the one everyone wants to get onside to reap the benefits of your accumulated buffs. And they said you couldn't earn friends with a Pulse Rifle.
