Warner Bros knows Who Is Killing The Great Chefs
Oliver Platt stars in a tale of culinary killing
1978’s Who Is Killing The Great Chefs Of Europe? saw George Segal and Jacqueline Bisset involved in a case of top cooks being offed in the manner of their most famous dishes.
And now Warner Bros has decided that the time is right to boil up a remake, slicing the “Europe” part and setting the new movie in Las Vegas, home to some of the world’s most celebrated saucepan slingers.
Oliver Platt’s starring as a food critic who arrives in Las Vegas to sample the best of the best, only to become the prime suspect when one of the chefs is slaughtered. “There’s a darkly comic aspect to it,” writer David Goodman – who has penned scripts for Family Guy – told Variety . “And Vegas makes perfect sense for the setting.”
Now all they need to do is cast Delia Smith as one of the chefs and it’ll be a recipe for laughter…
