Watch Dishonored 2's first shadow-melding, neck-stabbing gameplay
Bethesda showed off the very first gameplay footage of Dishonored 2 at its E3 showcase event, revealing a game that looks like a very smooth successor to the acclaimed original. Well, as smooth as any game can be that's covered in stubble, scars, and saltwater stains, anyway. Take a look:
Other gameplay presented at the event showed off some of Emily Kaldwin's brand new powers, including the Domino ability that lets her link her enemies then stun (or kill) them all in one go. She'll also be able to mesmerize her foes, or just meld into the shadows, sneak up behind them, and kill in an appropriately horrifying tendril-y manner.
Dishonored 2 will be released on November 11. If you still need to catch up on the previous game, Bethesda revealed that pre-ordering a digital version of Dishonored 2 will get you a free copy of Dishonored: Definitive Edition (which includes the base game and all the DLC) for a limited time.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
