Surprise! There might be a Watch Dogs 2
It’s not the biggest shock in the world but it looks like Watch Dogs 2 is in the works. Reported by Videogamer, the sequel has popped up on the LinkedIn profile of Ubisoft programmer Julien Risse who works at Ubisoft's Paris studio.
It’s now magically disappeared from the site but this is the first time that we’ve heard the game mentioned by name. Given that the hacking adventures of Aiden Pierce was the best-selling new IP ever before it was eclipsed by Destiny, it makes complete sense that there's a Watch Dogs follow up.
An official statement we received from Ubisoft states that “We do not comment on rumour or speculation.” Perhaps another one to watch for E3?
Play spot the difference with Videogamer's image above and how Risse's profile looks now.
