Watch Dogs 2 gets a spot at Ubisoft's E3 presentation and a new logo
Ubisoft has confirmed that Watch Dogs 2 will appear for the first time at its E3 2016 press conference. The sequel to the 2013 open-world "do vigilante things with your gun and smartphone" game has been confirmed by way of financial statements and quite possibly had its main character leaked, but we still haven't seen the game in an official capacity.
Here's a video teaser for the event that shows a bunch of people smiling and some of the other games that will appear onstage, like For Honor (which we haven't seen much of since the last E3).
Ubisoft's conference is still a week and a half off, but it got started fanning the Watch Dogs 2 flames early with some gift boxes. The one it sent to YouTuber theRadBrad doesn't seem to reveal much more, but it does look like the Watch Dogs logo has been simplified a bit for easier spray painting.

That's a Ray-Ban case, so Ubisoft may be going after Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain's grip on licensed eyewear. Google Glass-style augmented reality may or may not be included.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
