Watch: GameCube Prison has one last job for Final Fantasy
Welcome to GameCube Prison, the first season of a new regular video series looking back on console-exclusive games trapped behind technological bars. In this final episode, we fail miserably at gathering all the components necessary to fully play Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles.
The first in a series of Final Fantasy spin-offs, Crystal Chronicles deepened the idea of a party journeying across the world and bashing monsters in the face. Though it is playable alone, Crystal Chronicles prefers an actual party, in your house, with four Game Boy Advances hooked up to your GameCube. This game isn't just exclusive to one system, it's arguably exclusive to a whole extra tier of proprietary hardware, at least if you want to experience the quest at its finest.
