New Nintendo Direct will lay out spring and summer games for Wii U/3DS
The original Mario maker will lay out its Wii U and 3DS release plans through the summer in a Nintendo Direct presentation tomorrow. Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe will host dual broadcasts at 2 pm PST and 10 pm GMT, respectively.
Here's where you'll find the US stream:
And the UK one:
Here's what we already know: after The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is released on Friday, Pokken Tournament will arrive on March 18, then 3DS port Hyrule Warriors Legends on March 24/25. The US will get Bravely Second: End Layer on April 15, and Star Fox Zero is still planned for April 22.
The Legend of Zelda for Wii U is still meant to be released sometime this year, but I'd be pretty surprised if it's out by the summer. Dragon Quest VII, Sonic Boom Fire & Ice, and Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games also have varying degrees of vague release windows. In other words, now would be a good time for Nintendo to fill out its near-term release calendar with a few pleasant surprises - even if it is gearing up for NX

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
