Watch seven minutes of Batman: Arkham City to prepare yourself for todays release
Arkham City hit US stores today and we have some extended gameplay footage as an appetizer
A game went on sale today at US retailers that you’ve been waiting for all year… Sims 3: Pets. But if you’re tired of the hype machine for that title, we’ve got a new video for a smaller release that came out this week you may have missed. It’s called Batman: Arkham City and you might have heard we liked it a whole hell of a lot. If you’re still on the fence about the DC Comics adaptation, perhaps this extended bit of gameplay from early in the campaign will convince you…
Picking up immediately after the end of an earlier bit of gameplay we saw, this clip shows Batman search for the Joker’s sniping nest as Bats plans to beat some sense into Mr. J for taking a shot at Catwoman. Of course, things never go the way you plan them when Joker is involved. By the way, this whole Joker sniping thing reminds us of one of our favorite storylines of the last decade, Gotham Central's Soft Targets. If you like anything involving Batman or police procedurals, it’s a must buy. Consider that your comic buying tip of the day.
