Watchmen hunting look-alikes

Zach Snyder hasn’t even announced his lead cast members for Watchmen, but already one casting call is out.

And it’s certainly an interesting one. As the production is after look-alikes for a bevy of famous real-like folk. With the plot set in an alternate US, time periods can be mixed. But the Watchmen team is after people who resemble the likes of JFK, John Lennon, Fidel Castro, Albert Einstein, Andy Warhol and Richard Nixon, to name but a few.

While the graphic novel is replete with cultural info, this makes us think that Snyder’s planning to give his adaptation as much depth as possible. As well as making someone – particularly if they look like Yoko Ono – very happy. Because let’s face it, if you look like Yoko Ono, your life can’t be much fun…
