Lovely new views of the Polish RPG's sword play
Straight from the heart of Poland comes these screens from The Witcher, an RPG for the PC. Aren't they lovely?
Powered by BioWare's Aurora engine, you take the lead in this real-time role-player as a warrior named Geralt who, through mutation, has become a supernatural killing machine sworn to protect the local population from werewolves and the undead. And so our hero wanders the land, picking up odd jobs, destroying monsters and leveling up through six medieval combat techniques.
But in a novel twist, booze affects your fisticuffs technique and so, if you spend too long in the inn developing your social skills and gaining the respect of the locals, you might find yourself fighting with double vision and a blurry screen.
