• “Alien Invasion” will be coming to Woking this October, with the Lightbox Gallery and Museum hosting a three-month exhibition on HG Wells and the history of science fiction in popular media. The exhibition is free and and boasts a display of War Of The Worlds props and toys. More at The Lightbox website .
• Nicholas Vince ( Hellraiser ) is teaming up with Hidden Basement Productions to bring to the stage two stories from his collection What Monsters Do . Tickets are available now and the show is set to play at the Etcetera theatre in Camden as part of the London Horror Festival between 25 and 27 October. Tickets are available online now .
• Blacksparrow Auctions will be auctioning over 200 original costumes worn by Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks and others from The Hunger Games film. The auction will take place on Saturday 16 November 2013 at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood but if you can't get there in person you can bid over the phone or online.
