What is Carcassonne?
Popular German board game heading to XBLA, tabletop geeks rejoice
Because each tile is played immediately (players don't hold hands of tiles), up to four people can play at once in the same room, although, admittedly, playing the actual board game is probably more fun than playing the XBLA version. Still, it's a great way to play Carcassonne with a friend you might not ordinarily be able to, and up to five can play via Xbox Live.
Carcassonne, set to hit XBLA this June, will include the Rivers I expansion, and we're told that other expansions, including Rivers II and Traders and Builders will be available at that time as well. Until then, click herefor fresh screens andherefor a gameplaytrailer.
