The next Fortnite live event is rapidly closing in, which has a lot to live up to after the Remix: The Prelude event that kicked off Chapter 2: Remix a few short weeks ago, but interest is now rising in the next live event after a countdown timer appeared in the lobby. In line with the theme of rap music that features heavily in the current season, the Remix: The Finale event is set to honor the legacy of the late Juice WRLD and his love of Fortnite, with performances of his music and a special reward – everyone who attends the event will receive a timed exclusive outfit. For all of the latest information, here's what you need to know about when the Fortnite live event will start and what it's likely to include.

A brief teaser clip at the end of the Chapter 2 Remix Trailer shows Juice WRLD stood on a beach looking out to sea, and as the last of the Fortnite rappers to be added we have the clue "It’s not a lucid dream. Draw your eye to the setting sun at the WRLD Point landmark" for where they might appear on the island.

If you look closely at the key art for Chapter 2: Remix, you'll also notice the number 999 written in the clouds at the top right corner of the image. This number is closely associated with Juice WRLD, who had it tattooed and said in an interview that 999 meant "taking whatever ill, whatever bad situation, whatever struggle you’re going through and turning it into something positive to push yourself forward".

Head to Rainbow Rentals, the landmark on the coast southwest of Holly Hedges, and alongside the Juice WRLD graffiti on the side of the end hut you'll now find a poster for the Fortnite live event, listing all of the rappers who have featured in Chapter 2: Remix and suggesting they could all be coming together for one big concert. Look out to sea from this point, and you can't fail to see a giant representation of Juice WRLD watching from over the horizon, as shown at the top of this guide.

That's all we know for now about the next live event in Fortnite, which will take us through the conclusion of Chapter 2: Remix so we can emerge into Fortnite Chapter 6 followed by the much anticipated return of Fortnite OG, where we'll see some no doubt significant changes on the other side of the downtime when December 1 rolls around.
