When is the next Fortnite live event?

The latest Fortnite live event is a celebration of the huge collaboration between Epic Games and Disney, showcasing upcoming plans and crossovers that are coming to the battle royale and beyond. This was presented in the form of a livestream broadcast direct from the D23 Fan Event into the game, and there were reportedly well over a million players in attendance for the premiere showing. If you missed that original Disney Horizons Live from D23 stream then there's no need to worry, as it's being shown on repeat for a few more days, so here's when the latest live event in Fortnite took place and how to watch it.

To join the island hosting it, select it from the Discover row at the top of the lobby screen, or search for island code 7908-6413-2516. As a reward for taking part in this live event, any players who visit that island for at least 10 minutes will receive the Peelverine Plush Back Bling item pictured below, along with an XP bonus – note that this back bling will not be awarded until August 16, so don't expect it to pop up immediately.

There's a lot of information packed into the short presentation, so here are the highlights to watch out for:

• Disney Villains are arriving in Fall 2024, including Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, and Captain Hook
• The Incredibles are also coming to Fortnite in Fall 2024
• A new Star Wars Grogu / Baby Yoda dynamic back bling is coming to the Item Store on August 12
• Season 4 of the Battle Royale is titled Absolute Doom, starts August 16, and is centered around Fantastic Four Super Villain Doctor Doom
• A new Deadpool 'Fishpool' skin is coming to the Item Store in the future
