White PS3 coming West
FCC filings reveal Sony's plans to bring slick white PS3 in our direction... or North America, at least
Filings on the Federal Communications Commission website have revealed that Sony's slick white PlayStation 3 will be coming to North America - and hopefully Europe too.
The first filings were made in October last year but withheld from the public at Sony's request, so as to "avoid premature release of sensitive information prior to marketing or release of this product to the public."
Now though the filings are up for everyone to see, as well as pics of the Commission's testing rig and Sony's promise that the white console will be manufactured according to FCC regulations. Release date now, please?
Unfortunately, even though it's sexy as hell, it's still a 40GB PoorStation. Can we have our USB ports back at least?
