Will Arnett turns Space Invader
Arnett goes Atomic
Arrested Development star and Total Film favourite Will Arnett is to make the move into producing, after Fox Atomic signed-up spec script Space Invader, written by industry newbies Mike Lisbe and Nate Reger.
Lisbe and Reger are currently hot comedy property in Hollywood, after years spent slogging away in telly. They’ve also just sold The Wrong Nine-Year-Old and written Little Orphan Anthony for New Line.
But it’s Space Invader we’re interested in, for the pure fact that comedy genius Arnett is attached to produce and star.
The story centres on a love triangle in a space station, and will follow Arnett’s upcoming turns in Blades Of Glory and Semi-Pro, opposite Will Ferrell, who we reckon he’s gearing up to replace as top of our list of favourite current comedians.
