Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg re-teaming for Turkey Bowl
The Other Guys are back... kind of
After the massive success of their cop comedy The Other Guys , Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are looking to combine forces once more.
This time, they’re being coveted by Warner Bros for a pitch the studio has just bought called Turkey Bowl.
The film would pit Ferrell and Wahlberg against each other as rivals from different towns who play an annual football game.
As is par for the course with these high profile comedies, the WB want to populate the teams with numerous cameoing big names – so we should probably expect Dwayne Johnson to show his face again.
Keeping it even more in the funny family, Other Guys director Adam McKay will produce Turkey Bowl. If the WB can rustle up a script even half as funny as The Other Guys , we'll be there with cherries on top.
Ferrell is currently starring in Everything Must G o , while Wahlberg will soon shoot Seth MacFarlane’s Ted .
