Win an EXCLUSIVE cloak for Lord of the Rings Online

This contest is officially closed and we are no longer accepting new requests for the Cloak of the Dark Halls. If you have already sent in your request, you can expect to receive a PM with your code within the next few days. Please check the comments below for further updates as we finish distributing them. Thank you for your patience and for visiting GamesRadar.

We don’t usually purchase special collector’s editions of MMORPG expansions. It makes us feel like total tools, like simple fish that bite on any hook baited with an exclusive item or art book. That’s why we usually go to the store and pick up our regular copy like everyone else. But you know what? No matter how much we rationalize our frugal decision to pick up a retail copy, we LOVE those exclusive items! Even if the stats aren’t great or if that pet is just for show, we love the idea of equipping them and showing off to our future admirers.

“My, that’s a lovely cloak. Wherever did you find a drop like that?” the random adventurer asks.

“Why thank you. It certainly is a wonderful piece of equipment isn’t it? But the thing is, this is an exclusive item that can’t be found in the game. It’s too bad that you’ll never be able to find a cloak as excellent as this,” we’ll say.

“Even if I explore and grind for months?” they’ll nervously reply.

“No. This is an incredibly rare limited edition item. If you missed out on the giveaway, you’ll never get one,” we’ll say.

This will never actually happen, of course. But the point is that exclusive limited edition items are awesome. And if you play Lord of the Rings Online, we’ve got quite a treat for you. We’ve got a nice collection of keys to give away that you can trade in for an EXCLUSIVE in-game item, the Cloak of the Dark Halls.

Above: The Cloak of the Dark Halls provides 42 armor and adds +120 non-Combat Morale Regen. It also makes you a better person. How about that?

Do you want a code for a chance to be one of the few, proud soldiers fit to wear the Cloak of the Dark Halls? Do you want to start playing the new Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria expansion in style? Of course you do! So read our contest rules and follow these simple steps.
