Wind Waker HD confirmed for Oct. 4 launch in North America
Seattle symphony adds playable demos
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will release on Oct. 4 in North America, the same day as its previously announced European launch. Nintendo confirmed the date in a press release for its ongoing Symphony of the Goddesses concert series.
The Seattle performance on Sept. 12 at Benaroya Hall will host kiosks with playable demos of Wind Waker HD and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Oh, it will also have symphonic arrangements of themes from Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword, A Link to the Past, and more, we guess.
Check out our Gamescom preview for our most recent impressions of Wind Waker HD. And if you were thinking about buying a Wii U to play it, you might want to hold off for a little bit.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
