Witcher 2 dev announces new RPG "Cyberpunk"
CD Projekt Red goes Cyberpunk
At CD Projekt Red's Summer Conference, theyannouncedthat they are currently working on a brand new non-Witcher-related AAA RPG called Cyberpunk.
Though scant few details were discussed, we know that Cyberpunk will be based on the tabletop RPG of the same name. As you may have guessed, players will roll characters from a variety of different archetypes like mercenary or hacker and presumably fight "the man."
We do know that you'll be able to equip your character with all sorts of cybernetic implants and doodads of the sort while you're adventuring through a non-linear story.
The game is being developed by a new expansion of the CD Projekt Red team, but will be headed up by veteran members of the Witcher sqaud. Here's to hoping CPR will be coming to E3 next week with a closer look at the game.
