The Witcher 3 in 60fps will change your life to better suit its mood
The Witcher 3 is gorgeous, this is just an established fact. So showing you another video of Geralt ranging across lush green woods really isn't going to add much to your understanding of the game… unless it's in 60 frames per second.
There's just something about a huge world full of open skies and waving grass and gurgling fishmen, all running smooth as Geralt's oiled biceps, that makes it worth watching for the whole eight minutes and 47 seconds.
It's not just pretty landscapes, either - the video shows one of the many side quests that Geralt can embark on, leading to battles with the aforementioned fishmen and a thrilling chase. I think John Marston would approve of that slow-motion horseback combat, even if Geralt does use a sword instead of a six-shooter.
Oddly enough, the video was posted on the official Xbox YouTube account, even though CD Projekt Red has confirmed that The Witcher 3 won't run at 60 frames per second on either new-gen console. You'll need a beefy PC if you want the game to look like this.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
