Wonder Woman movie gets a new release date - don't worry, it's been moved up

The Wonder Woman solo film starring Gal Gadot has had its release schedule shifted. But before you rush off to Twitter and Facebook to lament having to wait longer to see DC's Amazonian princess in her own movie, know that the movie hasn't been pushed back. In fact, it'll be arriving in theaters three weeks earlier than previously expected.

Formerly slated for a June 23, 2017 premiere, Wonder Woman will now debut on June 2, 2017. If you want to schedule out your viewing parties, here's the most recent schedule for all of the upcoming DC movies:

Directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Lucy Davis, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, and Saïd Taghmaoui, Wonder Woman will open in cinemas on June 2, 2017.
