17) Halo mods
One of the most thorough Halo mods, Metroid Online has everything you could possibly want. Correct HUD, beam charging, morphballs - all with the cold, hard sheen of PC processing power. If you've got the bits, this is well worth a download.
18) Plane stupid
Pointless peripheral of the month goes to… the adjustable flight stick. Thumbs up for the solid design - plenty of knobs to twiddle and hinges to tweak - but someone should have done some market research. The number of flying games that would function with remote and Nunchuk held upright? Zilch. Sell it as a crash simulator, on the other hand…
19) Very iMPRESSED
The iPhone NES emulator - technological miracle and eye-spoiler in one. Loading it up transforms the base of the touch screen into a NES controller, albeit one playable only by those with pins for fingers. Normal digits will struggle to get Mario onto that first set of bricks, let alone master the Contra ROM. Officially the world's most irksome handheld console - don't give up the day job.
20) He he-shirt
The claim that Fire Flowers make you hot is a slight bending of the truth; more apt would be: "This is why I'm belching fireballs all over your face."
