WoW expansion announced tonight
GamesRadar prepped for big Blizzard news at 8pm
Friday 3 August 2007
GamesRadar has been pre-warned of some big Blizzard news set to be revealed tonight at 8pm, when the developer's BlizzCon event kicks off in California. And we'll bet the deeds to GamesRadar towers that the announcement will confirm new WoW expansion, Wrath of the Lich King.
With the recent rumblings surrounding the expansion - the title of which was recently filed at the US Patents office - we're confident that Blizzard is about to announce the new pack for WoW. Even more so when the timed link provided to us (for grabbing of assets, etc) directs to a World of Warcraft FTP server.
An incredibly in-depth question-and-answer document relating to Wrath of the Lich King was even leaked yesterday, hinting at a new level cap of 80 and a new reward for long-term players in the shape of a "hero" character class, the Death Knight.
The announcement will go live at 8pm, so keep your eyes on the interwebs for the inevitable flash-flood of news and opinons.
