X-Men: Apocalypse production art teases Angel's involvement
X-Men: Apocalypse is already set to introduce a whole host of new mutants (or at least younger versions of established mutants), and will seemingly add another newcomer to play Angel, judging from the latest concept art to be released.
A new image has been unveiled by director Bryan Singer, depicting the winged mutant seemingly caged and exhibited in front of a baying crowd. A ringmaster looks on, presumably hyping up poor Angel as some sort of winged freak.
The role has yet to be cast, but EastEnders actor Ben Hardy was added to the ensemble in an undisclosed role back in February. We'd put good money on his turning out to be Angel…
Co-starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence, X-Men: Apocalypse will open in the UK on 19 May 2016 and the US on 27 May 2016.
