As you've probably guessed by now, playing as Wolverine feels pretty familiar. You've got the standard punch-punch-kick combo, quick healing and shred-tastic, temper-driven berserker rage that have been used time and time again. Yes, there are longer, more detailed combos available over time, but they're still typical fisticuff fodder.
That said, there's still some satisfaction in ripping through rooms of electro-prodding henchmen. We also got a chance to slash up classicfoe Sabertooth (who returns unharmed from the first film) and the adamantium-laced villainess Lady Deathstrike. In her case, we had to bash her into a giant whirlwind that our weather-controlling ally Storm had whooped up - and cut up her pretty face when she finally takes a header into the concrete below. It's a basic scrapper setup (and borderline boring), but totally functional for fightin' fans.
