Xbox One Holiday Bundle has 36 games, technically
If you want to start your Xbox One collection with three dozen games for $399, the Xbox One Holiday Bundle will get you there with storage to spare. It includes a 1TB console, a two-pack disc with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Rare Replay, and a download code for Ori and the Blind Forest.
Ok, so "three dozen games" might be an overstatement if you don't consider every one of Rare Replay's 30 titles to merit separate mention. But don't forget that you can also download the entire Xbox 360 Gears of War collection (soon to be backwards compatible on Xbox One) if you play Ultimate Edition while connected to Xbox Live before the end of the year.
Either way, it's still a much more holistic package than the Xbox One Rise of the Tomb Raider Bundle, which includes both games in the reboot series but no Rare games whatsoever. The Xbox One Holiday Bundle will hit Microsoft Stores and other retailers on October 27.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
