Xbox One reduced to 299.99 in the UK
A temporary price drop for the Xbox One means you can now pick one up for a penny under £300. Microsoft has lowered the price of the standard console bundle - minus Kinect or a game- from £329.99 to £299.99 as part of a limited time promotion.
This is the fourth price drop for the Xbox One since launch and brings the UK in line with the US which also had a timed price drop to $349.99 in January of this year.
A Microsoft spokesperson says “This is a UK-only retail promotion and offers great value for fans looking to buy an Xbox One ahead of the launch of 2015’s highly-anticipated games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Batman: Arkham Knight, along with Xbox exclusives such as Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Motorsport 6 and Halo 5: Guardians.”
It’s a big year for Xbox One with both Halo 5 Guardians and Rise Of The Tomb Raider so definitely makes sense if you're looking to add to your console line up. Indie exclusives such as Playdead's Limbo follow up Inside as well as the intriguing looking Cuphead are also incoming.
