Cyber Monday Xbox deals 2024: Are big savings on the way?
Cyber Monday Xbox deals are on their way, should you wait for them?
Cyber Monday Xbox deals will be here before you know it, and regardless of whether you're a long-term Xbox player, a PS5 owner looking for a second console, or a casual hobbyist looking to stock up on the cheapest games this November, there will be something for you. Black Friday presents one of the best times throughout the year to buy gaming hardware, or go shopping for new games. Perhaps the most alluring thing for Xbox fans will be Game Pass discounts, especially since the price keeps rising.
Cyber Monday gaming deals are almost the exact same as Black Friday ones now since both events happen virtually. For that reason, it can be hard to justify a wait solely for Cyber Monday, although we do sometimes see specific offers saved for it. The other issue to contend with is stock shortages since wells can be run dry by the time Black Friday is done. Still, Cyber Monday brings the goods, and we're here to keep track of all the best deals as we do every year. We've just had new versions of the Xbox Series X and S launch to the masses, and that could mean great things for pre-existing consoles when we get to Cyber Monday.
No matter what part of the Xbox ecosystem you're planning on shopping for, this will be the place to be. For now, we've summed up some expectations for Cyber Monday Xbox deals and tried to answer some frequently asked questions. At the bottom of this page, you'll see a list of Cyber Monday deals from 2023 that have been frozen in time. Use those as a guide for what might be on offer this year, and how much you should budget for.
FAQ
When will Cyber Monday Xbox deals start?
Cyber Monday will fall on December 2 this year, which means you still have loads of time to prepare and save up for the gaming hardware you want. That said, we wouldn't necessarily recommend waiting only for Cyber Monday deals, since Black Friday is essentially the exact same thing these days. Early Black Friday offers start to emerge a week or two before that event officially starts, so it might be worth checking for those. If you need something sooner, October's Prime Day event might be worth watching as well.

What to expect from Cyber Monday Xbox deals in 2024
In terms of Xbox consoles this Cyber Monday, you have more than ever to choose between. There's the new special edition Series X which comes with a 2TB SSD, but there's also the original version, and a sleek all-white model too. The Series S has three versions now too, including options with a 1TB SSD. Bundles have been lacking this year, and it remains to be seen if Xbox has an answer to Sony's PS5 Pro announcement. Regardless, we always see Xbox Series X and S discounts during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so if you're waiting to expand your console collection, it's worth waiting to see what discounts could be had.
Regardless of the consoles, Black Friday and Cyber Monday let you get the year's biggest games for a bit cheaper, provided they didn't release within a month or two of the event. We saw some promising game discounts during Prime Day in the summer this year, so if you're rocking a Series X that can take physical media, you might be in with some luck. Of course, the question on lots of minds will be about the $1 Game Pass trial we've seen return a few times this generation. To be honest, I have doubts about this being a Black Friday/Cyber Monday special this year, given the reports that Game Pass is struggling to make money at the moment. With Microsoft lagging so far behind Sony this generation, I think we might see a more limited Game Pass offering this deal season.
Which leaves accessories to discuss. Controller deals will definitely be a thing this Cyber Monday, and they'll be worth keeping an eye on if you want to grab a new spare or even a more competitive pro gamepad. We've had lots of great new controllers released for Xbox platforms this year. Combined with the pantheon of Xbox One and existing Series X and S controllers that we already know and love, there will be plenty of choice. Headsets and storage options will be up for grabs too, most likely at some of their best prices of the year. Then again, Black Friday may see better deals, and we'd recommend you watch out for those to make sure you don't miss out.
Below, you can see a list of the best Cyber Monday Xbox deals from 2023, which we've kept on ice since last November. These may give you an idea of what you'll need to spend when the discounts arrive, as well as what could go on offer.

Ever since playing Journey at the age of 15, I’ve been desperate to cover video games for a living. After graduating from Edinburgh Napier University with a degree in Journalism, I contributed to the Scottish Games Network and completed an Editorial Internship over at Expert Reviews. Besides that, I’ve been managing my own YouTube channel and Podcast for the last 7 years. It’s been a long road, but all that experience somehow landed me a dream job covering gaming hardware. I’m a self-confessing PlayStation fanboy, but my experience covering the larger business and developer side of the whole industry has given me a strong knowledge of all platforms. When I’m not testing out every peripheral I can get my hands on, I’m probably either playing tennis or dissecting game design for an upcoming video essay. Now, I better stop myself here before I get talking about my favourite games like HUNT: Showdown, Dishonored, and Towerfall Ascension. Location: UK Remote
