Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z cuts into PC same day as consoles
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z will rise from the dead on Steam, Tecmo Koei announced today. Cyborg players can install the game directly into their Windows-compatible components, and everyone else can play it on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on the same day in early 2014.
The game from Team Ninja, Keiji Inafune's studio Comcept, and Lost Planet 3 developer Spark Unlimited stars Yaiba, a ninja slain by series star Ryu Hayabusa who is resurrected Six-Million-Dollar-Man style with cybernetic implants and a gadget-laden bionic arm.
Hordes of less-fortunate zombies shamble between him and sweet vengeance on Hayabusa, but it sounds like Yaiba wouldn't have it any other way:
"Will he kill by turning his cyborg arm into a razor chainsaw for slicing up undead--or just rip off an opponent's arms to use as zombie nunchucks?" the Tecmo Koei press release asks. "Both possibilities fill Yaiba's heart with twisted laughter--and the desire to kill more and more zombies!"

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
