You can watch PlayStation's E3 event in North American theaters with free tickets and goodies
If you can't watch watch the PlayStation E3 show in person but would still like to see it in a large room with a bunch of rowdy video game fans, the PlayStation E3 Experience has you covered. Sony will broadcast its big June 12 presentation to theaters across North America for the third year in a row, and you can reserve your tickets for free starting at 10 am PDT / 1 pm EDT on Tuesday, May 30.
Head to the PlayStation Blog to see a full list of all the theaters across the US and Canada participating in the PlayStation E3 Experience - more than 85 are listed so there's a decent chance you'll find one nearby. If you come to one of the showings you'll get a "digital gift basket" with rewards to redeem on the PlayStation Store as well as an exclusive poster and trading card. Here's what they look like:
Yep, show up to watch the presentation on a big screen and you'll even get some goodies on top of it. Sounds like an infinitely superior way to see the future of PlayStation than going to the main event in LA, honestly. I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
