Another famous face has joined the cast of the Han Solo movie. Michael Kenneth Williams, who you may recognize as Omar from The Wire or Robert from 12 Years a Slave, will be playing… someone.
The official announcement lauds Williams for his ability to bring "charisma, humanity, and nobility to all his performances," so I'm going to wager that whoever he ends up playing probably won't be covered in prosthetics or CG. Unfortunately, even that is a guess, as we know very little about the next Star Wars spin-off at this point.
In other news, 'the young Han Solo movie' really doesn't have an official title yet? Still? I don't know how much longer I can find the concept of "solo Han Solo" funny, guys. Get on that.
Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller and starring Alden Ehrenreich, whatever the young Han Solo movie ends up being called will release on May 25, 2018.
