The top SF author wants to take your questions in person!
You may have seen this competition in our latest issue : it's your once in a lifetime chance to quiz the celebrated Culture author and appear with him in the pages of SFX !
To celebrate the launch of Iain M Banks’s latest book in the Culture universe, The Hydrogen Sonata , we’ve teamed up with publishers Orbit to arrange for one lucky reader to meet and interview the Scottish author!
What burning questions do you have about the Culture or about Banks’s writing style? This is your chance to ask them! The interview will take place in Manchester on Thursday 11 October and Orbit will also put you up overnight nearby so you won’t have to worry about getting there and back in a rush.
To enter, simply submit the 10 questions you’d put to Mr Banks if you got to meet him. You've got until Sunday 30 September to enter. Make ’em as fiendish or as friendly as you like, but keep it to 10. Orbit, Iain M Banks and SFX will pick the best set of questions, and then arrange for that lucky reader to meet Banks to chat in person. (Terms and conditions apply – see that website link for details.)
The Hydrogen Sonata by Iain M Banks is published in print, ebook and audiobook editions from Orbit this October.
