Zack Snyder confirms that Man Of Steel sequel will be a Batman-Superman movie: Comic-Con 2013
Makes the announcement at the Warner Bros panel
Zack Snyder appeared at the end of Warner Bros' 2013 Comic-Con panel to confirm that the Man Of Steel sequel would be a Batman-Supeman movie.
He didn’t give away any plot details, but he did get Man Of Steel actor Harry Lennix to read out a line from the comics that suggested Superman and Batman might not be best buds in the film, which is currently being written.
“I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you.,” read Lennix in his authoritative tone, recalling the famous line that Batman says to Superman after an almighty smackdown in Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns.
After that, the lights went down and a logo appeared on the Hall's giant screens...
Snyder said the line was hint, rather than a direct indicator of where the story would go.
Unsurprisingly, the news blew the roof off of Comic-Con’s Hall H, and will likely be the biggest announcement of the festival.
