Zelda 64 hitting Virtual Console
[Wii] Ocarina of Time one of 36 titles coming soon
Tuesday 9 January 2007
Wii's Virtual Console will be getting 36 retro classics in the coming months, including The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64, Super Mario World and Streets of Rage.
Other games like Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Super Probotector, Bio-Hazard Battle, New Adventure Island and Double Dungeons also make up the numbers, with the full complement including 20 Nintendo, seven Turbografx and nine Mega Drive titles.
However, ominously, Nintendo has announced that the Wii Points price tags on Virtual Console games appearing this year may vary from previous titles - which currently stand at 500 Wii points for NES games, 800 for SNES titles and 1,000 for N64 games.
Individual launch dates haven't been confirmed but we'll update you as soon as we know when Nintendo plans to provide these retro delights.
