Zelda: A Link Between Worlds trailer introduces Lorule
Link is in pretty high demand in this new The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds trailer, first shown today at New York Comic-Con. In the parallel kingdoms of Hyrule and Lorule, evil is at play.
And that evil looks (and laughs) like Kefka.
Seriously, listen to that laugh again at about 0:40 in. This villain is majorly biting on Final Fantasy VI's sociopathic-jester style.
Moving on, this is the first we've heard of Lorule and its Princess Zelda counterpart, Hilda. It seems to be a different place from the Dark World/Golden Realm of A Link to the Past, but maybe it's just been spruced up a bit since Link cleaned the place out?
We'll find out for ourselves when A Link Between Worlds hits 3DS on Nov. 22.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.

Legendary Zelda dev "wasn't too pleased" about working on A Link to the Past as it robbed his enjoyment of playing the finished game: "I still really don't want to play that game"
