Zero Punctuation: the rip-offs!
You've seen Yahtzee's video reviews. Now experience the horrible offspring!
The hardcore one
Counter Strike Source Rant by 3kliksphilip
This guy actually does sound like Yahtzee. A bit.
Even though he ignores the yellow and simplistic cartoons, this is still one of the more effective rip-offs. Very hardcore, rather self-promotional (he can't resist appearing in the video himself at the end) but occasionally mildly funny because of it. We like the Pet Shop Boys riff, and the peculiarly random bigging-up of a 'tasty biscuit'. That said he talks so fast that often he actually trips over his own voice. Oh and it's insanely long.
The brainy one
Naver H Trad reviews the Philosophy of Ludwig von Feuerbach
One for the intelligenca. Got to be honest we're a bit lost. But the idea of chucking the Zero Punctuation style at a highbrow subject kind of works. The word play and the animation are amongst the best of the rip-offs. Check it out, you might learn something, we didn't.
