Zombieland 2 details revealed
Writers discuss what’s in store for Tallahassee...
Frankly, we’re shocked that Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese aren’t chained to their desks, considering they’re meant to be writing the scripts for Zombieland 2 , Deadpool and the sequel to G.I. Joe .
Somehow, though, they’ve found the time to sit down with MTV and discuss their work.
Most notably, they’ve opened up about Zombieland 2 , revealing that Woody Harrelson’s Tallahassee could be getting a love interest (yeee-haaaw!).
As well as the welcome return of all four leads – Tallahassee, Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) – they plan to introduce more characters into their dystopian universe.
And, naturally, 3D does appear to be on the cards. “We entirely want to write with 3D in mind,” said Wernick. Reese adds: “We want you to be looking down at your popcorn to make sure there isn’t blood in it. There will be lots of fluids flying!”
Also, expect young Ms Breslin to get more screen time.
Say the writers: “Growing up in a world that’s not necessarily geared towards growing up: it’s a world that forces you to grow up much quicker than you would have otherwise.”

Count us in! Zombieland proved to be a surprise delight last year, despite its first-time director and writers. If Wernick and Reese can recapture that same offbeat spirit with a sequel, we could have something very special to look forward to.
